Play

Have you ever watched kids playing hide-and-seek in the park? You might notice how they giggle to themselves, how they shriek as they squeeze their bodies behind trees and giant rocks. You might be struck by how present they are. And how much fun they’re having. No future. No past. Just now.

We are born knowing how to play. But as adults, that innate ability gets lost amidst work, family responsibilities, and the everyday minutiae of life (laundry, anyone?)

It’s enough to send us into a deep state of existential angst.

Play helps us learn about ourselves—our limits, our desires, our thirst for connection—and the world around us. It helps us, simply, enjoy life more and navigate it with greater ease.

That’s why I facilitate groups with women where we release into play through a variety of modalities including dance, meditation, yoga, art, and freewriting. We get silly and serious. We reactivate a sense of lightness and play. We cast aside our inner judge with a loving heave-ho.  And we have a hell of a lot of fun in the process.

I will also help you find ways to microdose play into your daily life beyond the workshop.
