“Odd how the creative power at once brings the whole universe to order.”

Virginia Woolf

The first time I made my parents laugh—impersonating John Wayne on my hobby horse at the age of about six—I felt a rush of power course through me. I can delight a grownup!

Later, as a young teen, I created an imaginary scene on my tape recorder to convince my parents to allow me to get my ears pierced. I played both my parents and my sister and tapped into their core personality traits (not always pretty). It was a big hit, and my parents said YES.

There’s power in creativity and expression! It can change parents’ minds and it can even change the world.

That’s why I have a comedic talk show that highlights global issues impacting Brookline, coming out soon on my local cable TV channel and YouTube.

You can hire me to run your auction as Cassandra, King Charles' original other lover (I'll have the audience guffawing while bidding big!)

And my one-woman show “Beastly,” is a call for all women to take their seat at the table and make some noise—new show times coming soon.

I’m just getting started, and would love to know what you think. So please tune in: I promise you’ll have fun.

“Melissa lights up a stage with her creative presence.

Run, don’t walk, to wherever she next performs and be ready for your heart to be opened and your laughter to be uncontrolled!”
